Anne Marie Adams:  

Anne Marie Adams [Adkins] graduated from the University of Texas Austin in 1975 with a BA in Political Science, whereupon she acquired employment at Scientific Methods, Inc., an international organization development/management consulting firm. She occupied almost every position in that firm and co-authored two books printed internationally under the name of Anne Adams-McCanse before departing in 1993 to become co-owner/VP of Production of Howard Adkins Communications, Inc., a graphic design firm specializing in catalog production and direct mail for the supplementary education industry. Planning to retire in 2010, she relocated to Fort Davis but within four months became restless and felt the need for further engagement and found herself employed at Marfa Public Radio for 4.5 years, serving as “everything off-air,” that is, office/business management, membership/database management, volunteer coordinator, intern coordinator, and ultimately underwriting/pledge drive management.
